Area 83 World Service Committee (Upcoming Meetings)

Everyone is welcomed to attend!  All Area 83 committee members and District representatives will be discussing Al-Anon business, and everyone's voice is important.

Al-Anon Information Services (AIS) Fundraiser - 7th Annual Move-A-Thon

You can run, walk, jog, bike, yoga, swim, or dance, it’s your choice. Just get moving!

When: Saturday, July 18th, 2026, at 10:30 am weather permitting

Where:

In District 1: We will meet at Kenny’s Pond, behind the Holiday Inn. Parking is available at the Holiday in Parking lot or at the old MQP parking lot on Macdonald Drive.

Outside District 1: You can walk or do any physical exercise at your favourite place.

Duration: 1-2 hours. Bring your own water and snacks, for a social get together to meet friends old and new.

Who: We are asking all Groups in Area 83 NL, who are interested, to have a member represent their group. That member will collect money from their group. Money can than be e-transferred to: jmgreen11@hotmail.com

AIS is an essential frontline service. It reaches out to those who need Al-Anon through phone services, website, etc. It is an invaluable service, not only to professionals but to those who are seeking help. It is a great way to get exercise and help this worthwhile cause.
